My dividend stocks watch list this week
ARCP - American Realty Capital Property. In My Monday Blog I shared more about this stock.
I am not sure about SLM (Sallie Mae). This company originates, acquires, finances, and services private education loans to parents and graduate students in the United States. The price went down due to strategic separation into two companies. So basically the company became smaller and surely the share price fell, which make sense.
Due to new tightened student loans rules and faster repayment requirements as well, this kind of business looks less risky to me than it used to be before. Plus I really like the dividends yield of 6.70%. I just wonder if it is going to be the same after spin-off. They didn't pay any dividends in 2008-2010. So I will just watch how this stock will be doing and decide later.
I was thinking to add BGC - General Cable corp because their prices went down to their lowest of 52 weeks.But after reviewing their dividends history - they didn't pay dividends for years and then paid it in 2013, I decided not to put them on my list. Plus I checked their countries for business and I am not sure if I see so much potential in this as well.

I do not buy stocks at their highest prices. I might miss some good stocks but I prefer to sit and wait.
